Darwin walking tour

9.00 am 11.00 am

Darwin is a compact little city with a colourful history. You’ll travel in time from the WW2 bombing of Darwin to the present.

Following the tour, we’ll give you a list of cool places to walk or Uber to if you want to look around. There is plenty to keep you happy in Darwin. Or put on your bathers, sit on a deckchair, order a drink and have a swim in the harbour lagoon. It is sounding pretty good.

Cost $25

Media Training

Learn how to support your client so that media is empowering. You will learn how to prep and be strategic. Can you work out a catchy sound bite or quote? It is a magical feeling when you’ve nailed it. Every participant will be interviewed and recorded. This is a small group, hands-on workshop.

Who can come?  financial counsellors or those working with us in the sector (community sector)

Cost: Apply here for a scholarship by 15 Feb. There are 8 offered.

Questions: Maura Angle

Let’s face it, unless you’re a northerner, you’ll be heading back to the cold. After a big conference week, why not chill for a few hours at the new Darwin Habour Lagoon. There are deckchairs, and cool cafes. We can confidently predict the weather will be around 30 degrees. And there is no chance of being chomped by a croc in this cool wave pool.

Call it self-care, or call it networking. Invite a friend for time to wind down near the water.

Cost: $7 entry to Wave Pool
